Client brief:
We were contacted by the client as a member of staff who had managed their marketing activities was due to leave. We were asked to undertake a detailed review of all marketing and social media activities and provide an improvement plan going forward.
Client Objective:
- To have a detailed breakdown of all existing social media activities and costs.
- For us to manage the social media going forward at a reasonable cost.
- To promote the business online.
Results:
After a detailed analysis, it was found that the business was spending £000’s on social media advertising as well as at least £3000 per month on Google Adwords. The campaigns were significantly under-performing and were costing too much. We immediately stopped the spend and started a plan of organic social with a longer-term strategy for FB advertising. The business owner has saved a significant amount of money over the last two years, without compromising on social media presence or website traffic.
